Cameroon - Barbarian assassinations of women / Ms. Abena Ondoa (Minister for the Promotion of Women and the Family): “Beyond the horror and terror that their executioners believe to sow, women still have enough strength to denounce these heinous crimes ”

 

The member of the government announces psychosocial support for the families of the victims.

We had not heard much from this ministerial department since the start of the abuses against women in the North West and South West regions. However, the Ministry for the Promotion of Women and the Family (MINPROFF) is primarily concerned by the situation.

Marie Thérèse Abena Ondoa, who heads that department, organized the 1 st September in Yaounde, a public denunciation of action of atrocities on women by armed gangs in the English-speaking regions but also in the Far North of the country the Boko Haram group is rampant.

In the space of a year, Cameroonian opinion has experienced, through unbearable images, the savage assassinations of three women in the English-speaking area: Florence Ayafor , Comfort Tumasssang and Treasure Mbah . Crimes which have always aroused indignation.
